David Outhwaite began drawing in 1965, receiving a Certificate from Ruskin School of Art, Oxford, England. After travels in Central and South America, he lived near Santa Fe for ten years, inspired by the landscape. His current work continues to explore environmental themes, working with natural vegetation, newsprint, oil, charcoal, watercolor, and egg tempera.
