Bruce Wilder Saville was born in Quincy, Massachusetts. Four years of his career as an artist were spent in Columbus, Ohio where he designed several monuments including the World War Memorial, Ravenna, OH; the Peace Memorial, State House grounds, Columbus, OH; the Mack Memorial, Ohio State University, Columbus, OH; the Ohio State War Memorial, Columbus, OH; three panels for the Jeffrey Manufacturing Co. office, Columbus, OH and the Anthony Wayne Memorial, Toledo, OH. He taught at Ohio State University.
